About CopycatDish
Restaurant recipes, made at home.
Hi! We’re the team behind CopycatDish — a food blog obsessed with one thing: reverse-engineering your favorite restaurant dishes so you can make them at home, better and cheaper than the original.
It started the way most food obsessions do — standing in a Chick-fil-A parking lot, eating a crispy chicken sandwich, thinking: I could make this at home. Spoiler: we did. And it was incredible. Then we made the Starbucks Pink Drink. Then the Olive Garden breadsticks. Then we couldn’t stop.
What We Do
Every recipe on CopycatDish goes through multiple rounds of testing in a real home kitchen — not a professional studio. We figure out the exact ratios, the right techniques, and the ingredients that actually make a difference. We share the failures too, because knowing what doesn’t work is just as valuable.
🍔 100+ Recipes Tested
From fast food to fine dining chains — we cover them all.
💰 Save Real Money
Most copycat recipes cost 60–80% less than eating out.
🥗 Know Your Ingredients
Control exactly what goes into your food. No mystery ingredients.
Our Promise
We only publish a recipe when we’re confident it’s the real deal. If we can’t get it to taste like the restaurant version, we don’t post it. Every recipe on this site has been made, eaten, tweaked, and eaten again — many times over.
Have a restaurant dish you’d love to see us copy? Send us a request — we love a good challenge.
