- Halve the avocados, scoop into a bowl, and mash with a fork to your preferred chunkiness.
- Add the lime juice first and stir - this seasons the avocado and keeps it green.
- Fold in the red onion, cilantro, jalapeno, and salt. Taste and adjust lime and salt, then serve right away.
Notes
Chipotle adds lime and salt before the other mix-ins so the avocado is evenly seasoned. Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface to keep leftovers from browning.
