Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 green pepper diced
  • 2 large eggs beaten
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup ketchup for topping
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Mix the beef, crackers, cheddar, onion, pepper, eggs, and milk until just combined.
  2. Press into a loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes.
  3. Stir together the ketchup and brown sugar, spread over the top, and bake 15 more minutes until 160F inside.
  4. Rest 10 minutes before slicing.
