Ingredients
  

Biscuits
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • 1 cup cold buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
Garlic Butter
  • 3 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped

Method
 

  1. Mix the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, and cheddar. Stir in the buttermilk and melted butter just until combined.
  2. Drop 12 mounds onto a baking sheet.
  3. Bake at 425F for 10-12 minutes until golden.
  4. Stir the garlic butter ingredients together and brush over the warm biscuits.

Notes

Don't overmix the dough - lumpy is good for fluffy biscuits. Brush the garlic butter on while they're hot so it soaks in.
