Ingredients

Filling
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 4 crunchy taco shells
  • 4 flatbreads or flour tortillas
  • 1.5 cups Mexican cheese blend shredded
  • 1 cup lettuce shredded
Spicy Ranch
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Equipment

  • Skillet

Method

  1. Brown the ground beef, drain, and stir in the taco seasoning with a splash of water. Simmer 5 minutes.
  2. Mix the ranch, hot sauce, and paprika for the spicy ranch.
  3. Warm each flatbread, sprinkle with cheese, and place a crunchy taco shell in the center. Press gently in a hot skillet so the cheese melts and glues them.
  4. Fill the taco shell with beef, drizzle with spicy ranch, and add lettuce and a little more cheese.
  5. Fold the flatbread around the taco and serve.

Notes

Melt the cheese between the soft flatbread and the taco shell to glue them together, just like the original. A spicy ranch ties it all together.
